Omega 'Eton College' rowing stopwatch, circa 1970s, signed black dial with Arabic 1-10 seconds scale, subsidiary 10 minute recording dial and outer silvered strokes per minute chapter, 54mm; within a red lanyard Omega case holder/mount - ** A sticker present to the reverse of the case is inscribed "JF, From GIB's for coaching their Bumping 4, 1971 2" - All Eton Houses were referred to by the initials of their housemasters. John Faulkner (JF) coached the Bumping 4 crew for George Ingham Brown's (GIB's) House - George Ingham Brown had a career developing secret weapons for the SOE during World War II and went on to a successful career teaching and writing books on chemistry. John Faulkner was a classics teacher and housemaster at Eton
